Performance Objective

Ownership, management and delivery of all marketing activity and tasks across all areas. This includes regular KPI reporting, management & delivery of content, development of multimedia campaigns and development of marketing materials to drive sales and the Brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Leadership Team through delivering strategies and marketing activities to drive brand awareness and sales, ensuring value proposition is effectively communicated
  • Take responsibility for managing the brand, ensuring consistent and accurate portrayal
  • Build the marketing capability, resource, delivery and impact across all group companies
  • Lead, develop and motivate a small – but growing – in-house marketing team
  • Develop lead generation programmes to deliver the target number of enquiries from each channel to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly and annual goals
  • Maintain and manage company website and social media channels to drive engagement and conversions
  • Assist with creating engaging, creative and innovative content in line with brand guidelines for use in blogs, newsletters and email campaigns
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and issues that are trending with target customer base
  • Work with team to plan and execute detailed annual marketing
  • Track marketing and sales data and produce regular detailed marketing reports with insights & actions
  • Research feasibility of exhibiting at trade events, plan and manage if decided that this is right for the organisation
  • Liaise and coordinate activity with Sales & Projects to maximise impact and results
  • Manage spend within agreed budgets
  • Manage and liaise with third parties, including agencies, affiliates and influencers, as needed
  • Oversee maintenance of central marketing assets, including product master list, messaging copy and images


  • CIM or alternative professional qualifications and 5 years experience of working in a similar role is essential
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work effectively on their own
  • Numerate & analytical
  • Able to write grammatically correct, engaging copy appropriate for the relevant audience
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills
  • Flexible, able to adapt quickly
  • Experience in developing and managing multi-platform campaigns
  • Experience in managing and maximising digital marketing channels including website and social channels and monitoring tools
  • Skilled in Microsoft apps – Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, ExcelExperience of other tools such as CRM, Google analytics, creative apps
