Waverley acquires SioSystems to expand acoustic and screening offering

By: Oli Birch Category: News

Shading and acoustics solutions expert Waverley has continued its strategic growth journey with the acquisition of SioSystems.

The acquisition strengthens the Waverley portfolio for architects, designers and contractors working in commercial, public sector, hospitality and education spaces.

SioSystems offers a single-source of design, manufacture and installation of high-end acoustic glazed partitioning to create exceptional working environments.

Daniel James, Managing Director of Waverley, said:

“This acquisition is another step on our journey to become the leading specialist in shading, acoustic and decorative interior solutions. We will invest in further product development to make sure SioSystems continues at the cutting edge in its field.  The trend of combining sheer curtains with glazed partitions to improve aesthetics and acoustic performance means there is a good deal of synergy between the two entities.”

Dale Woodcock, Director at SioSystems, added:

“This exciting move aligns with our original vision for Sio and will propel its growth strategy. With Waverley’s market knowledge and investment, our creative R&D team is eager to bring new acoustic partitioning innovations to market in the near future.”

SioSystems will operate as a stand-alone division within Waverley and Oliver Davies will continue to front client relations supported by an enlarged technical and installation team to facilitate growth across Europe.
