What We Offer
Part of our service to architects includes three RIBA-approved CPD presentations delivered to your team, either in person at your offices or online via Microsoft Teams or Zoom:
'Improving Sustainability through Performance Solar Shading'
In this engaging CPD, we help architects and specifiers understand that well-informed choices regarding solar shading can have a huge impact on keeping a building’s carbon footprint to a minimum.
The CPD delves into the science behind solar heat gain, accreditations and metallised fabrics, and includes a practical demonstration to illustrate how important fabric specification is.
'External Shading Systems'
An industry first on the topic, this informative presentation identifies the range of external shading systems available to architects and specifiers, using samples to highlight how each system operates in different scenarios.
Part O, fire and other regulations form a large part of the CPD, which concludes by identifying the key areas to consider when specifying external shading systems.
'Introducing the Benefits of an Automated Shading System'
This educational CPD sheds a light on how important automated shading systems are when it comes to designing sustainable buildings. We explain the benefits associated with the systems, before comparing the cost of automated controls to manual.
All CPD's last approximately 45 minutes, and we're happy to fit in with the time that suits your team best, whether at lunchtime or any other hour of the working day. Some practices prefer a breakfast meeting which can be arranged.
External Shading Systems RIBA-approved CPD
This RIBA-approved presentation is an industry first. Here, we cover everything from Part O and fire regulations to the variety of products available and key considerations when specifying external solar shading on your projects. A product demonstration is also available for in-person CPDs.

Automated Systems RIBA-approved Webinar
As the latest addition to our offering, this RIBA-approved presentation is an insight into automated systems. The CPD begins with an overview of how automation can impact sustainability, before explaining the make-up of a smart system, specification considerations and the cost.
