Orangebox Smartworking Space, Lower Ground Floor
Having collaborated in 2022, we partnered once again with Orangebox for Clerkenwell Design Week 2023.
Following on from the 100m wave curtains installation on their Upper Ground Floor last year, which you can read about here, this year we worked on the Lower Ground Floor of their stunning Smartworking Space in Clerkenwell.
The Requirements
With the space set to be used for seminar’s throughout CDW 2023, Orangebox were after an aesthetically pleasing design that promoted comfort and style.
After being provided with the concept design below by their team, we surveyed the space to discuss fixing details and other considerations.
The Solution and Installation
Using 30m of suspended Silent Gliss curtain track, the design glides through the open plan area, creating a dynamic flow for occupants moving from one section to another and a space that enables flexible working in individual, group and presentation settings.
Specified using two shades of Svensson’s Nova fabric, the 52m wave curtains act as room dividers, manufacturing zones that promote collaborative and flexible working, while providing an attractive and versatile space for visitors, partners and clients to utilise and enjoy both during and after Clerkenwell Design Week.
Thanks to some ingenious track planning, all of the curtains can be garaged so as not to impinge on the space when configured for conferences and open plan entertaining.
Commenting on the installation Liz Walker, Marketing Manager of Orangebox said:
We worked with Waverley on our Upper Ground Floor in 2022 and were impressed with their planning, enthusiasm and the quality of their installation. When it came to the re-design of the Lower Ground Floor, we had no second thoughts about collaborating with Waverley, and once again they have delivered.
