Introducing our range of external blinds
We’re delighted to introduce a new range of 18 external blinds to our website.
By working alongside the likes of Warema, Guthrie Douglas and Shy, we’re able to create bespoke systems to suite facades of all shapes, sizes and complexities, with an array of different products available, including roller blinds, shutters and venetian blinds.
Furthermore, our Specification and Technical teams have the expertise to guide architects and consultants through the intricacies of specifying external blind systems on all current and future projects.
Waverley Sales Director, Frazer James, added:
“We’ve already witnessed significant enthusiasm surrounding external blinds and their potential to enhance a building’s performance. Collaborating with industry leaders Warema and Guthrie Douglas, along with our proficiency in control systems, enables us to provide innovative solutions to our clients.”
Providing accurate information regarding external blinds has become crucial following the new Part O regulations introduced in June 2022.
The regulations identify external blinds as an acceptable strategy for reducing the risk of overheating in new residential buildings, including MDU’s, care homes and student accommodation.
We discuss how these systems can be used to comply with Part O regulations in greater depth here.
Alongside the new products on our website, we will soon be launching a new RIBA-accredited CPD which looks into the benefits of external blinds and considerations required when specifying theses systems.
We’ve already received some great feedback on the CPD, with Studio Partington describing the presentation as “informative” and “very helpful.”
Alternatively, if you’d like to discuss external blinds for your projects, either upcoming or currently in progress, or learn more about the systems in our CPD, contact us and our expert Specification and Technical teams will be able to assist you.
