Waverley’s hugely popular RIBA-accredited CPD launches in live webinar format

Following the success of its CPD titled ‘Improving Sustainability Through Performance Solar Shading’, originally delivered directly to architects either at their practice or virtually, Waverley has further broadened its offering by making the CPD available via live webinar, through Microsoft Teams.

The 45-minute RIBA-approved, core curriculum CPD covers how architects can harness the potential of metallised blind fabrics to improve building efficiency. Attendees discover how correctly specified solar shading can address issues of glare, heat and visibility, creating energy efficient buildings which promote wellbeing and productivity.

Effective solar shading can also assist with environmental accreditation such as BREEAM, LEED v4, SKA and WELL.

Since its launch at the beginning of May 2022, the CPD has been booked by more than 75 practices and feedback has been excellent.
